De Rossi to snub Man City, Chelsea

Roma star Daniele De Rossi admitted he is keen to stay in Italy, and reject the overtures of Manchester City and Chelsea.
The midfielder is in high demand, with both Barclays Premier League big-spenders keen to snap him up, as the Italian's contract renewal talks seem to have hit a snag.
City manager Roberto Mancini in particular, is a big fan of his compatriot, while Andre Villas-Boas is also keen to add him to Chelsea's star studded midfield at Stamford Bridge.
With De Rossi's contract expiring next summer, he certainly represents value for money, as he could either walk on a free transfer or go for a hugely discounted fee this January.
The Citizens, according to reports from talkSPORT, are considering a £8 million move for the Italy international in a bid to gazump their rivals.
With the midfielder's future at Roma in doubt, the Serie A club could consider that an attractive deal, but De Rossi himself is keen to stay.
De Rossi, who has been at Roma all his career, admitted: "Everything is at an impasse.
